TURKMENISTAN / ASHGABAT This building complex of the Defense Ministry is consisted of Government Center for Emergency Situations, Military Institute Building and the connected colonnade system, open and closed parking lots, underground passages and technical buildings. The structure was designed for use during disasters and crisis, hence it contains various areas and offices specifically designed for use in the case of an emergency. Another major constituent of the structure is the Military Institute building. The Military Institute building contains various military training sites, sports fields, a swimming pool and offices. The colonnades interconnecting the buildings of the complex are adorned with specifically designed golden ornaments and doors. Structural characteristics: The building has 3 basement and 6 upper floors, and a total area of 55,276 m2, including 20,000 square meters of the Military Institute building.
